OUR PERSON-CENTERED APPROACH
ADVOCACY
Our person-centered approach helps identify each individual’s strengths, goals, barriers, and areas in need of increased support. This allows the individual to feel empowered.
GUIDANCE
We use Motivational Interviewing to guide our recipients through the stages of change. We engage each individual at the least restrictive model, taking all recipients wants, needs and goals into consideration.
ONGOING SUPPORT
At all visits we continually assess, teach, and engage with our clients. We provide the support needed in order to reach the individual’s level of desired autonomy.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission at Ally is to fight to end homelessness by providing optimal client centered support, advocacy, and safe and affordable housing to homeless adults with severe housing barriers in Minnesota.
BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS
We are passionate about building and enhancing dedicated relationships with landlords and tenants. We specialize in assisting, supporting, and advocating for adults that have severe housing barriers. We use a housing-first approach to end homelessness. We specialize in coordination and communication between landlords and tenants. We assist clients by providing necessary resources and referrals to meet the participant’s needs and goals. Participants undergo an intensive screening process to ensure the requirements are met for the program. We assist participants with maintaining housing by budgeting, obtaining household needs, and coordinating with county and private providers.
